Book Store is built on Bootstrap 3 framework, it supports the same browsers as Bootstrap.


This template is responsive and should look fine on all standard mobile devices.

 installing WP

You need to have wordpress installed on your server to start working with Book Store.


STEP 1: download WP

Download and save the latest version of Wordpress from the following link:wrdpress

STEP 2: extract the content:

Copy the extracted contents of wordpress zip to the corresponding path of the server. Make sure WP has permissions to write the folder it is located in.

STEP 3: Edit the Configuration File

After clicking on "Create a configuration file" then "Let's Go" you will get the configuration page:

If the information is correct and everything works fine you will receive:

STEP 4:login data and site name

At last step you will see a success message.

Now you can go to install your Book Store wordpress theme.Just click login and proceed.

 Installing Theme

To install Book Store wordpress theme you will need wordpress 5.0 or higher version.

step 1:

follow the steps and upload themes installation zip file.

  • Download the theme .zip file.
  • Unzip the archive file.
  • find the installation file.i.e.pictureSnap.zip
  • Go to your WP admin panel -> Appearance -> Themes -> Upload Theme -> Choose File
  • Upload the pictureSnap.zip file.

After installing theme just active the theme.

step 2:

Uploading to the serevr.

  • Download the theme .zip file.
  • Unzip the archive file.
  • find the installation file.i.e.pictureSnap.zip
  • Connect to your server via FTP or any other way that will allow you to explore and upload files directly.
  • Go to your WP Installation Folder/wp-content/themes/
  • Upload the The Hide Out folder

If everything went good in option 1 or option 2 the theme should appear under Appearance -> Themes like down below.

To activate the theme go to Appearance -> Themes and press the Activate button next to the theme.

for home page:

Create a page that will serve as homepage.

  • Go to wordpress admin panel
  • Go to pages
  • Then Add New
  • Name it for example 'Home'

for blog page:

Create a page that will serve as archive page of blog posts.

  • Go to wordpress admin panel
  • Go to pages
  • Then Add New
  • Name it for example 'Blog'

Set the front page and blog page to display as a static page:

  • Go to wordpress admin panel
  • Go to setting
  • Go to Reading
  • Then select Static page
  • in Front Page -> choose your page from the drop-down menu
  • in Post Page -> choose your blog page from the drop-down menu

Your page should look something like:

Here we help you to setup your Home page.

header setup :

Step 1: Go to Dashboard -> Appearance -> Customize -> Site-Identity.

Here you can add Site Name.

Step 2: Go to dashboard -> Appearance -> Menus

  1. Create a new menu
  2. Give menu name
  3. Save menu
  4. Select menu
  5. Click add to menu
  6. Select theme location
  7. Save menu

Front Image Section :

Step 1: Go to Dashboard -> Appearance -> Customize -> Home Panel -> Banner.

Here you can change image, banner height, heading,heading font size.

Portfolio Section :

Step 1: Go to Dashboard -> Appearance -> Customize -> Home Panel -> Portfolio.

Here you can change image, heading,heading font size, content text, button text and button url.

Gallery Section :

Gallery images will be added from blog post images

Hire Me Section :

In Hire Me setion you can add wedding section and event sections

Step 1: Go to Dashboard -> Appearance -> Customize -> Home Panel -> Hire Me.

Here you can change image, heading, sub heading, button text and button url.

Awards Section :

In Awards setion you can add your achivments in image format.

Step 1: Go to Dashboard -> Appearance -> Customize -> Home Panel -> Awards.

Here you can change heading, image.

Social Section :

In Social setion you can add your Social contacts.

Step 1: Go to Dashboard -> Appearance -> Customize -> Home Panel -> Social.

Here you can change heading, social icons, icon urls.

Contact Section :

In Contact setion you can add your contact details.

Step 1: Go to Dashboard -> Appearance -> Customize -> Home Panel -> Contact Us.

Here you can change heading, boxes heading, colors of boxes, address, contact numbers, Email IDs.

Portfolio Page :

Step 1: Create Portfolio page

  1. Go to Dashboard
  2. Go to page and add new Page
  3. Add Page name 'Portfolio'
  4. click on Publish.

In Portfolio Page you can add your portfolio banner and latest work.

Step 2: Go to Dashboard -> Appearance -> Customize -> Portfolio Panel -> Banner

Here you can change portfolio main Image.

Step 3: Go to Dashboard -> Appearance -> Customize -> Portfolio Panel -> Latest Project

Here you can add your latest project.

about us Page :

Step 1: Create About US page

  1. Go to Dashboard
  2. Go to page and add new Page
  3. Add Page name 'about'
  4. click on Publish.

In Portfolio Page you can add your image, name, subheading & content, sign and button

Step 2: Go to Dashboard -> Appearance -> Customize -> About US Panel -> Banner

Here you can change about us main Image.

Step 3: Go to Dashboard -> Appearance -> Customize -> About US Panel -> Name

Here you can change about us main Name and its size.

Step 4: Go to Dashboard -> Appearance -> Customize -> About US Panel -> Sub Heading And Content

Here you can change about us sub heading and content.

Step 5: Go to Dashboard -> Appearance -> Customize -> About US Panel -> Sign and Button

Here you can change about us sign and button.

Step 6: Go to Dashboard -> Appearance -> Customize -> About US Panel -> Subscribe

Here you can change about us subscribe button.

Blog Page :

Step 1: Create Blog page

  1. Go to Dashboard
  2. Go to page and add new Page
  3. Add Page name 'blog'
  4. click on Publish.

In Blog Page you can add Right Sidebar and your Posts.

Step 2: Go to Dashboard -> Post -> Add New

Here you can add Posts.

Step 3: Go to Dashboard -> Widget ->

Here you can add Right Sidebar.

Contact Page :

Step 1: Create Contact page

  1. Go to Dashboard
  2. Go to page and add new Page
  3. Add Page name 'contact'
  4. click on Publish.

In Blog Page you can heading and contact detail.

Step 2: Go to Dashboard -> Appearance -> Customize -> Contact US Panel -> Heading

Here you can add Heading.

Step 3: Go to Dashboard -> Appearance -> Customize -> Contact US Panel -> Contact Detail

Here you can add contact detail.

In this section you will learn that how to import pictureSnap Demo content in pictureSnap theme.

Step 1: Install

  1. Go to Dashboard
  2. Go to Tools
  3. Click on Import
  4. Click on Install Now under the Wordpress option.

Step 2: Click on Run Importer under the Wordpress option

Step :3 Upload file and import

  1. click on choose file
  2. select the pictureSnap.xml file which is already available in your downloaded pictureSnap.zip folder.
  3. Click on Upload file and Import
